This home pre-conception pack provides the opportunity for both the man and woman to screen their fertility potential at home. Good results are not proof of fertility but the tests do help to identify if there are any major reasons why it is worth seeing the doctor before you start trying for a pregnancy.

What does the pack contain?First..... BioCheck fertility screen for the woman.

I expect you know that a woman's fertility starts to decline after she gets to 30 but what you probably did not know is that the hormone FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) is intimately involved with a woman's fertility and rising levels tend to be associated with reduced fertility. This hormone can be raised in women with irregular periods and will steadily rise as a woman gets older. As menopause approaches the levels get particularly high and act as an early warning system.

With this test a negative result is going to be good news although its not proof of fertility. A positive test result suggests your fertility is reduced and we recommend that you see your doctor to discuss the results and perhaps have more tests done..

This babystart home diagnostic screening test is a rapid test of FSH concentration in urine. The kit contains two tests and if both test results are positive it is an indicator of reduced fertility.
The BioCheck female fertility test will allow you to test your fertility potential privately and discreetly in your own home.

Second... A fertility screening test for the man.
One test kit sufficient for two sperm concentration tests. A positive result indicates that the sperm concentration is 20 million/mL or more which is the concentration used by the World Health Organisation to determine a mans fertility status. At least 40% of infertility problems are attributed to the man so it is good that couples can now have a chance to screen for a low sperm count!
