Greens Organic Fact: Matcha Tea's now become the celebrity beverage of Eva Longoria, Dannii Minogue, and Gwyneth Paltrow to name just a few.
There's something special about how our Organic Matcha is produced... The tea leaves are covered for two weeks before they are picked, and this increases the chlorophyll within them, making the leaves a vibrant green colour. They're then dried, and very slowly ground into a fine powder, before being packed, locking in all the goodness.
Matcha makes a really mild, smooth, and rich green tea, that's high in antioxidants and chlorophyll and naturally low in caffeine - a cup of Matcha has about 1/4 of the caffeine of a coffee ... And it's so quick and easy to make. Just put 1/2 teaspoon of matcha in your cup, and gently pour hot (not boiling) water over it and whisk. It's as simple as that..
As a superfood, you can add it to pretty much anything. Just add half a teaspoon to fruit juice, green smoothies, yoghurt or hot or cold water and give it a good whisk.
We've replaced our morning coffee with Organic Matcha Tea, and absolutely love it!
